How to Find Leads Right Now
One way to see you have leads right now?
Analyze who is watching your current content.
One of my clients and I were discussing other ways for lead generation last week and typically this question arises with my clients when they feel either like they are not doing enough or they don’t have enough leads.
My go-to response is always to ask what are you doing right now to sell to your current audience.
99% of the time this is the case.
Here’s what I broke down for her.
Sure, there are many ways to do more lead generation in your business if you have exhausted current efforts but the main thing to look at is if you have really exhausted those efforts and gave them time to work. Most likely, you haven’t. You have been too distracted in doing all of the other things that lead generation and leads seem few and far between because you aren’t paying attention enough.
So here’s what I told her.
First, look at who is engaging with your content. This will get a feel for who is seeing your current content in your audience. Do this on any platform you are on and make a quick list.
Secondly, analyze this list. Do you know any of these people? Are these people new? People you have worked with before? People who have inquired in the past?
Thirdly, categorize this list. Sort the list into cold, warm and hot leads.
Do this same thing with people who are viewing your Instagram stories as well. You will always have the same bunch of viewers each day that maybe you are familiar with but more than likely will come across new people that you are not currently engaging with.
That brings me to my last point of all of this and how you can turn these leads into clients.
Engage with them!
Now that you have their names and have analyzed your data, start talking to them. Build a relationship and DO NOT SELL. Do not burn a bridge. Take the time to get to know them and feel them out. Have a conversation.
